Psychiatric Evaluation
|
|
The purpose of our comprehensive psychiatric evaluation is to get a full picture
of each person's history, symptoms, strengths and medication needs, if any. We
ask you to provide us with all relevant previous information, including a copy
of your latest physical examination. Child/Adolescent Evaluations occur over three
visits and always include patients and parents. Adolescents will have a private
time to discuss their concerns. When treating minors, we appreciate the central
role of parents and other family members and collaborate with them in a sensitive
and ethical manner. Adult Evaluations occur over two to three visits, depending
upon the complexity of the situation.
